The Expolanka group of companies marked their 32nd anniversary celebrations with the planting of saplings at all Expolanka subsidiaries on Saturday, 16thOctober. As a socially responsible business entity, the Expolanka Group is committed to environmental activism through its Green team. It distinguishes itself in celebrating its special occasions by reconnecting with nature and giving back for sustainable development. The occasion marks the first step for the "Tree for Everyone" campaign that is to follow where a sapling will be planted on behalf of each employee of the Expolanka Group.
Starting off in 1978 as an exporter of agricultural products during the economic boom, Expolanka soon diversified into trading commodities and essential edibles. Fuelled by an innovative attitude and a dare-to-do spirit the Expolanka group now boasts a presence in 10 countries through 46 companies in diverse fields ranging from freight and logisticsin the form of Expolanka Freight (Pvt.) Ltd.,to university education atAPIIT and Business Process Outsourcing through HelloCorp (Pvt.) Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, the Group CEO of Expolanka Holdings, Mr. Hanif Yusoof said;
