Expolanka Holdings and the Colombo Toastmasters Club joined together at the Galadari Hotel on December 1, 2010 to hold the concluding session and award presentation for the successful participants of the Speechcraft program conducted by the Colombo Toastmasters Club for employees of the Expolanka Group of Companies.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Hanif Yusoof, Group CEO of Expolanka Holdings, said;
"You have not only changed my people, you have transformed them. They have gone from 'Caterpillars to Butterflies' that is the transformation I see, for us to take this company to the next level. We have just concluded in a series of taking a family business into a process driven business."
Mr. Ajith Bopitiya, President of the Colombo Toastmasters Club in his closing remarks made a wish that the Speechcrafters would take their talent beyond boundaries that we make for ourselves and wished that Expolanka will grow beyond boundaries, referring to the corporate tagline of Expolanka, "Business Beyond Borders"
