Expolanka Group recognized by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka at NCE Awards, 2009

The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) honoured three of the line companies within the Expolanka Group for their exceptional performance, service quality and responsible corporate conduct in the arena of product export. These honours were bestowed at the NCE Awards 2009, which was conducted at the Hilton, Colombo on the 25th of September, in the presence of the members of the export business community of Sri Lanka

Honours received by the Expolanka Group were the direct result of the excellence in performance, of the respective companies, as well as their dedicated and meticulous members of staff, who were honoured duly for their effort.

The line companies that were given credit by the NCE are:

• Expack Corrugated Cartons (Pvt) Ltd - who were awarded the GOLD award in the sector of Supply/Service Providers to     Exporter - Extra Large
• Expolanka Teas (Pvt) Ltd - received two GOLD awards and one SILVER award in the sectors of Tea Value Added - Extra     Large, Tea Value Added - Most Outstanding Exporter and Most Outstanding Exported for 2008, respectively
• Expolanka Limited - were also honoured to receive the SILVER medal in the sector of Agricultural Value Added - Extra     Large
