Denshun Industries, a member of the Expolanka Group took the initiative in helping Hewagama Kanista Vidyalaya in Hewagama, Kaduwela, in close proximity to their factory. The company has provided breakfast to all students and teachers in this school since August 2002. The company also conducted a seminar on 5S to the senior students and teachers of the school in July 2002 and September 2002. An art competition was inaugurated too and awards distributed to 13 winning children.
