Much needed assistance for the elderly citizens at the Home for the Aged in Borella was provided as a joint effort of the staff members of Freight Care and International Airlines in January 2003. New beds, mattresses, fans and mosquito nets were donated to the home. The roof and electrical wiring system was fully renovated and nine toilets were built. Clothes and basic toiletries were distributed amongst them during a tea party organised by our staff members. The happiness and smiles on their faces were indescribable, and we knew then that our small effort had made a big difference to the day-to-day lives of our dear senior citizens at the Home for the Aged in Borella.
