Staff members of the Freight Care and International Airline Services jointly arranged a day out with the children of Shilpa Children's Home, Narahenpita on 12th December 2001. Orphaned children were taken on a picnic where they enjoyed themselves thoroughly, especially at Galle Face beach and Sathutu Uyana children's amusement park. Joy rides and other entertainment were organised and the day ended with a dinner following a singsong session and distribution of clothes and other gifts.
