APIIT - the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, one of the more recent investments of Expolanka Holdings, is a provider of premium quality education to Sri Lanka's youth.
APIIT currently conducts the same degrees available in the United Kingdom internally for about 1/5th of the cost. The cost saving per student is close to between LKR 5-6 Million. Additionally, one in three students who go overseas remain there for at least 3 years. APIIT's offering serves to reduce this outflow of skilled labour from the country.
Currently APIIT gives 10 scholarships a year to deserving students, costing the company a sum of LKR 10,350,000/- each year.
